Rec League

Eligible Students: 3rd-6th Graders at St. Charles, St. Gerard, or St. Rose.
Registration Period: Oct 1 - Oct 21 of prior school year
Fee: $75 (covers jerseys, officials, basketballs, equipment, end of season party, and other athletic department expenses)
TEAMLINKT: Parents, make sure you have the TEAMLINKT app on your phone and an account with the same email you used to register your child. All coach communications and up-to-date schedules will be found there.
Equipment: Players receive and keep a reversible game jersey. Players are responsible for their own black game shorts, basketball shoes, and water bottle.

League: Western Ohio Youth Basketball League (Click HERE for the league rules)
Playing Time Requirements: The league requires all players to sit one entire quarter start to finish and play one entire quarter start to finish. Beyond that, we ask that all 3rd & 4th graders play at least 50% of the game and 5th & 6th graders play at least 33% of the game.
Practices: Two (2) weekday evenings per week, starting in early November.
Games: Eight (8) Saturday morning games at area schools
Tournament: All 5th & 6th grade teams will be entered into a post-season league tournament.

Pictures: Team photos will be scheduled by the coach and photographer. Order forms can be found HERE.
Volunteer Needs: Front door, concessions stand, scoreboard operator, scorebook keeper.
Gym Locations: Practices and home games will take place at St. Charles, St. Gerard, or St. Rose.

Tournament Teams

Fee: Varies depending on tournaments and number of players (covers tournament entry fees)

Tournaments: The tournaments we play each season will vary.
Playing Time Requirements: There are no playing time guarantees for tournament teams. Coaches are encouraged to work kids in as much as possible while remaining competitive. It should be stressed that the main benefit for the athletes is the extra practice time in a more focused setting.
Practices: Will vary from season to season, but an extra practice during the week can be expected.
Games: Tournaments generally take place on Saturdays and Sundays.
